Hi everyone, welcome to Autumn 2 in Years 5 and 6
This half term we have been learning all about mountains in our Geography work. The children have astounded me with the information they have remembered from previous years, and they have applied this knowledge to deepen their understanding of mountains and the surrounding areas. They had a great time at the beginning of the unit when they developed their orienteering skills; we have used potatoes to build our understanding of how contour lines represent mountains on a map, and Miss Doyle has completed some excellent work on printing and stenciling in Art!
