Ladybridge Primary School is currently closed to all pupils except for those identified as children of critical workers and vulnerable children . FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE VISIT OUR PARENTS’ SECTION.
Dear Parents and families of Ladybridge,
Following Stockport Local Authority’s decision to open schools to some children no earlier than Wednesday 10th June (see link to the letter below), we have been working hard in school to plan for the potential safe opening of Ladybridge Primary to Year 6, Year 1, Reception and Nursery children. This letter outlines our plans – please read it carefully. If your child is one of those returning to school, please also read the Home School Agreement and return it to school by Tuesday 9th June. This is important as it sets out what all of us must do to ensure Ladybridge Primary is as safe a place for your child to return to as we can possibly make it.

Who we are ….
Ladybridge Primary School is a Community Primary (3-11) co-educational day school. In other words, we are a mixed school of boys and girls with classes from Nursery to Year 6.
Our Nursery class has 40 places. We offer 30 hours for working parents and 15 hour part time places for all parents. Children can start the term after their 3rd birthday.
The school has resourced status, with the inclusion of pupils with Severe/Complex and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties. This means we have a Resourced class for 9 children with a variety of significant learning difficulties. They are an important part of our school and help to support our very inclusive ethos.
The school building was officially opened in 2002 replacing an earlier school on the site which some parents and grandparents still remember as they came to our old school. Our school is purpose built, light and attractive.
Teachers and children work in an environment of the highest quality. We are proud of our school and work hard to keep it looking bright and purposeful.
We have extensive outdoor facilities, including two large playgrounds, an Early Years playground and outdoor learning area, a field for sporting activities as well as a developing wildlife garden. We are continually looking to enhance our outdoor provision, having recently established a ‘mud kitchen’ in the Early Years area and having planted trees around school. We want our children to access to learning opportunities outside of the classroom.
If you would like a paper copy of any of the information published on our website, please contact Mrs Anstis or Ms Houghton in the School Office on 0161 428 5445.
