Welcome to our wonderful Year 1 and Year 2 class page!
We are so excited to welcome you and your child into our vibrant learning community. At the heart of our classroom is a genuine love of learning, where we strive to inspire every child to discover their potential and be the absolute best that they can be. We gently encourage our pupils to live by our core 3 R's in everything they do: showing respect for one another, taking responsibility for their learning, and building wonderful resilience when facing new challenges.
To help our days run smoothly, here are a few quick reminders:
-
PE Kits: Please send your child in with their PE kit on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
-
Reading Books: Reading books and record diaries should be brought into school every day.
-
Library Day: We visit our school library every Tuesday, so please ensure library books are in bags ready to be swapped.
We look forward to a fantastic year of growing, learning, and smiling together!
If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to ask either Miss Nugent (Monday-Wednesday) or Mrs Pickering (Thursday-Friday)
