Lunches and Snacks
Cooked lunches are provided at Ladybridge Primary School or children may bring a packed lunch.
From Summer term 2018, our school meals will be provided by the Totally Local Company Limited (formerly SK Solutions).
Meals are either prechosen by parents at home or by the children when they register in the morning. There will be a choice of 2 main dishes each day, one of which will be vegetarian. There will be a halal alternative to the main dish.
All children in the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes are entitled to a free school meal. The cost for all other children is currently £2.25.
All dinner money payments are now made online. Parents who wish to pay for school meals will need to give the school office an email address in order to set up an account. Our administrative staff, Mrs Anstis and Mrs Houghton, will be happy to help you with this should you wish.
Free School Meals – Only children from families who are in receipt of Income Support/ Income Based Job Seekers Allowance/ Income related Employment Support Allowance/ Child Tax Credit but who are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and whose income does not exceed £16,190, are eligible to receive free school meals.
The menu for Autumn 2020 can be seen below:
Children who do not have school meals can bring their own packed lunches to school. We would encourage parents to ensure that packed lunches are healthy and nutritious in the same way as school meals are. For safety reasons, we ask that no glass bottles, glass vacuum flasks, fizzy drinks, sweets or nuts are put in lunchboxes please.
